Ledina
Ledina is a trakehner mare (Donaufurst x Koree x Slesus) that was born in 1993 in Canada. She is a beautiful, 16.2 hh gray mare with a kind, sensible temperament. The most striking thing about Ledina’s pedigree is the high amount of line breeding to a handful of stallions and mares that were known for producing substantial, yet outstanding sport horses.
Ledina’s mother line is known as the dam line O388A Lottka. Her dam sire, Koree, was approved at Neumunster in 1978, and then stood briefly at Nannhofen. In 1979, he was imported to Canada where he stood for 10 years. Koree produced the ATA approved son Fantast as well as a number of excellent performance horses.
Her father, Donaufurst, is the combination of two very outstanding parents, Mahagoni and Donaufahrt. Mahagoni, is one of the breed’s most successful dressage producers ever. Donaufahrt was a full sister to the Olympic sire Donauwind. Donauwind was the sire of, among others, the Gold Medal winner Abdullah. Donaufurst, himself, won championship after championship as a hunter in Canada. He began his dressage career at age 9 and is now competing Intermediaire I with scores in the 60’s. Donaufurst also produced three approved sons in his first year of breeding.
Ledina’s pedigree is notable for a history of producing excellent performance horses, especially in dressage.
Arielle

Arielle, 2005, was born this spring and is the baby of the farm. Arielle is registered with KWPN-NA. Arielle’s father, Juventus, is a 16.3 bay stallion who stands at Iron Springs Farm in Pennsylvania. Juventus competes at FEI with scores consistently over 64. In 2000, Juventus was the Grand Champion and the Champion Stallion at Dressage at Devon. While Juventus himself is talented in sport, his offspring are equally talented and have won many championships.

Firestar

Firestar, 2004, is a an almost black, GOV premium gelding by Freestyle out of Krista’s Treasure xx. Firestar has been a pleasure to have on our farm because of his sweet disposition. Firestar’s father, Freestyle, was the 2002 Reserve Champion FEI 6 Year Old Horse in the USA at Dressage at Devon. In 2004, Freestyle was the Canadian Champion at 4th level in dressage. Freestyle’s father, Florestan I, has taken the top position in the FN breeding values for a number of years. In addition to Freestyle, Florestan I has produced a number of famous stallions, including Florencio!
Firestar’s mother, Krista’s Treasure is an incredibly kind and athletic distance bred thoroughbred. Krista’s Treasure’s bloodlines include the old distance bred lines that are notorious for crossing well with warmbloods to produce excellent sport horses.
We expect Firestar to excel as a sport horse. He is bred for dressage but would do well as a hunter or an eventer.

The most striking thing about Ledina’s pedigree is the high amount of line breeding to a handful of stallions and mares that were known for producing substantial, yet outstanding sport horses. Cydney (Farrington x Neostan x Belisar), 2007, is a KWPN-NA registered colt from impeccable dressage performance bloodlines. Cydney’s father, Farrington keur, has produced numerous successful dressage horses who are performing at the higher levels. Cydney’s damsire, Neostan, is schooling Grand Prix and also an excellent producer of dressage horses. Cyndey’s damline is one of the top marelines in Holland. His greatgranddam, Charites, has ranked #1 on the KWPN’s index of top 250 dressage mares with a dressage index of 176.
Cydney is a tall, long lined colt with a lovely temperament. He has lovely movement reflects excellent use of his topline. He is an excellent dressage prospect!
